Michael Geoffroy joins Sports ‘N Torts for episode 147. Michael is a lawyer with offices in his hometown of the Conyers/Covington area. I call Michael a “Lawyers Lawyer” because of the professionalism, grace and passion with which he practices law. He is known in Georgia as a leader in the courtroom and in the community and has held numerous leadership positions within the State Bar. This guy has been doing it right for over 20 years. This was a unique episode as we just had a free flowing conversation that spanned all sorts of topics of the law, business, family, sports, and traveling. We hit some really serious topics while at the same time discussing really fun ones. This episode really hits home for me the good times that can be had with two dudes just chopping it up.

We discuss:

-Soccer (futbol) – both Premier League and Atlanta United

-Gear worn to soccer matches

-Raising kids towards college

-Watching soccer matches in Europe and pub crawling through England

-How he became involvement in Ethylene Oxide cases

-His Calling to Represent his Community against the companies who are polluting the air with Ethylene Oxide

-Representing over 150 Plaintiffs in suits involving Ethylene Oxide exposure

-Working with the EPA to make the air safer for Georgia communities

-His appreciation for being a lawyer

-Use of Artificial Intelligence in his practice

-Raising Horses

-Florida Gator fandom and holding a degree from both University of Florida and University of Georgia

-Braves moving to Cobb County

And much more. As always, this episode is powered by The J. Stein Law Firm – a personal injury law firm in Atlanta, GA – www.jsteinlawfirm.com
