Jalen Hurts did not play his best game as a passer, with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith not fully utilizes in the offense, but thanks to Saquon Barkley, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Jalen Carter and a host of others, the Eagles escaped with a win over the visiting Carolina Panthers. Bryce Young? Not so bad in his return to the Philadelphia area. Grant Calcaterra’s touchdown early in the fourth quarter made a difference, while Nick Sirianni’s decision-making was a huge concern once again.
