With the introduction of the solar calendar in modern Japan, Lunar New Year celebrations have lost its place as a major event in Japan. However, even today, there are areas, such as the southern part of the main island of Okinawa, where it is still celebrated with great fanfare. - 日本では廃れてしまった旧正月の風習。今でも沖縄本島の南部など、盛大にお祝いする地域があります。オーストラリアに住む沖縄出身者３人に、旧正月の思い出や、４都市の県人会が集結して実現した沖縄芸能祭、そして沖縄の記憶をつないでいくために参加を決めたというアートプロジェクトについて聞きました。
