Hello, Im Craig and welcome to another episode of Football Kit Memories - the football podcast that gets under the shirt
In today’s episode I'm joined by author and broadcaster Paul John Dykes from the award-winning podcast A Celtic State of Mind. Paul John has recently just published The Celtic Jersey, a beautiful pictorial history of Celtic’s famous shirts throughout the ages, a book I really enjoyed reading over Christmas.
During the chat, we talk about the process behind putting together such a stunning and comprehensive collection of images and anecdotes with the help of former Celtic player and kit man Neilly Mochan’s son, other Celtic collectors and the club itself. I also find out more about Paul John’s plans for A Celtic State of Mind, it’s live events and I get his thoughts on the evolving position of fan media itself. Later and as always I asked Paul John to pick out three of his favourite football shirts.
