The distinguished Finnish philosopher Esa Saarinen explains his concepts of "systems of holding back" and "pushing plus buttons". The first has to do with the tendency we have to hold back instead of reaching out to each other. There is so much good we could do for each other that we end up not doing. Esa outlines how we can challenge the systems of holding back, to the benefit of all. It may then open up for activities of pushing each other's plus buttons, granting the other's value as a human being, acknowleding efforts and energizing the other.
This is the first, and probably last, episode in English. I made an exception for Esa. Back to Norwegian from now on.
