In the latest episode of Life in Food with Laura Price, I talk about Food and Social Media with Sara Tasker, a podcaster, photographer and social media expert with a specialism in Instagram. Having built a hugely successful career around Instagram, Sara talks about the pros and cons of the platform, how to build and authentic brand - and how she started out posting pictures of sausages. In the episode, we talk about body image, diet and body positivity, as well as finding a balance between social media and reality, and how Instagram changed Sara's life.

About Sara Tasker: Sara hosts the Hashtag Authentic podcast and runs coaching courses including her very own Insta Retreat. She describes herself on her website as 40% photographer, 40% writer, 40% coach and 10% cake. (She admits she's also terrible at maths.) Sara's book, Hashtag Authentic, was published in 2019.

About the host: Laura Price is a multilingual journalist who travels the world writing about restaurants. A proud Yorkshire lass at heart, she spent several years in Latin America before settling in London with her two cats. Her first novel, Single Bald Female, was inspired by her experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer at 29. A novelist by day and a food writer by night, Laura combines her two passions into this podcast, bringing out powerful stories of survival and healing in a language that everyone understands – food.
