The RGP’s Safeguarding Team said the Graham Southwell case has taken an emotional toll on them.


Detective Sergeant Jo Ullger said thousands of police hours went into successfully prosecuting the paedophile.


She said they are pleased with the 39-year sentence and the closure it will bring to the brave victims - and also to her team.

The RGP says all reports of non-recent sexual offences seriously and any allegations will be thoroughly investigated.
