In this episode, Suzy is joined by Elaine and Laura who both have children living with diabetes. They reflect on what it was like to send their children back to school following diagnosis, and the steps they took to prepare and settle well into the new school term. Elaine and Laura speak about what they learned, the changes they would make, and how technology has helped along the way. They both provide a key tip at the end of the episode, so be sure to listen in.

They also speak about the importance of support from school staff, the healthcare team, loved ones and peers. Suzy highlighted that our Online Forum is available for parents and carers, this is an area where you can discuss, help and advise each other.
