In Today's episode, I have Amanda Bergen on to talk about overcoming adversity. Amanda works with Toronto's homeless community, and through overcoming many of her own challenges, she has so much insight and encouragement for how others can overcome adversity when all odds seem stacked against them. We also talk about some of the factors that drive homelessness, what kind of programs are out there, and some possible solutions for what we can do as a society to help those in need. Amanda is also a professional performing and recording artist who goes by the stage name Empress Harmony and is currently promoting her first conscious reggae single called “Love Love Love” which is available on all major music platforms. She is expected to release her first music video for “Love Love Love” and is getting ready to release her second single in the upcoming weeks.
