Elder Chris reminds us that we will all face times of feeling overwhelmed. In Psalm 61, David begins with the plea, “Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.” Elder Chris explains that even when we feel distant from God, we can take comfort in knowing that He hears our prayers. The rock we flee to in our moments of need is the same rock that provides both eternal salvation and strength during our earthly journey. And we can rest in the assurance that one day, there will be nothing to overwhelm us.
