“You are going to die.” The very fact that those words strike us as hard or offensive just shows how much we need to hear them! The recent California wildfires have got me thinking—those fires burned what was in their path. Rich or poor, black or white, liberal or conservative—the fires didn’t care, but just burned.

That’s how death is—it is coming for us all. Are we ready?
