This week we studied 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8, looking specifically at Paul’s discussion of the Antichrist. In this passage, Paul addresses confusion in the early Thessalonian church about whether they had missed the Rapture and entered the Day of the Lord by reassuring them this wasn't possible since the Antichrist had not yet been revealed. Paul then gives four key descriptions of the Antichrist: his lawless destruction, prideful blasphemy, present restraint by God, and certain defeat by Jesus Christ.
