Pride. It's self-focus. It's self-worship. It's believing that I deserve recognition. And what it will do is it will prevent me from going to God. It will prevent me from loving God, supremely loving others, supremely dealing with other people's sins in the right way, resolving conflict. Brethren, pride is believing lies that are not true and so detecting it.
