He notes that while we cannot change God's promises, there are elements of our destiny and our relationship with God that can be transformed as we embrace this revelation. Joseph references John 20:11-16 to illustrate how Mary temporarily interrupted Jesus’ ascension to the Father through her love and dedication. In doing so, she brought Jesus from the spiritual realm into the physical, as described in Psalm 24:7-10.
Like Mary, Joseph asserts that we can change aspects of our lives by gaining a revelation of God’s love and spending time in His presence through worship, scripture study, and fervent prayer. He also cites 1 John 4:17-19 to explain that God's love has been perfected in us, granting us confidence on the day of judgment, for as He is, so are we in this world. This passage further clarifies that there is no fear in love; rather, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves torment, and those who fear have not yet been perfected in love.
