Marc Hunt, a 2012 inductee in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, joined Rockabilly Greg In the Flamingo Lounge on November 18, 2024. Marc has performed on, produced and engineered over 100 local recording sessions including the “Goo Goo Dolls” and more. Marc studied guitar and piano at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

As a performer, Marc has been nominated for several local music awards. He is a former member of the band “Bobo” and “The Pillagers” and is currently a Bass Player at “The Cloves”. Interestingly, Marc spent many summers playing a deputy and outlaw for Fantasy Island.

Marc is an educator active in the community and has been published in musical education magazines and journals.

Marc was a Stage Technician for Walt Disney World Entertainment in Orlando where he handled staging lighting and audio equipment along with mixing for live theatre. Marc was owner and chief engineer of EarCandy Audio, a studio that catered to local artists. He was Chief Engineer for Chameleonwest Recording Studios. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and is a certified ProTools engineer. He started the EDGE Sessions with Rich Wall.

Marc is active in the community and is an original board member of Music is Art and is a Teacher of Video Production & Recording Arts at Erie 1 BOCES Calspan.
