Whether you like hosting people in your home or not, hospitality is part of our culture. In fact, it has been a major defining characteristic of cultures since the beginning of time and many cultures are judged based on their hospitality or lack thereof. The Israelite priests also practiced hospitality, often in generous and risky ways.
