Ricardo Camacho, born in Bogotá in 1948, is a distinguished Colombian theater director and co-founder of Teatro Libre. In 1973, alongside Jorge Plata and others, he established Teatro Libre, aiming to create an independent group dedicated to popular theater as a tool for societal transformation.
Under his direction, the company has staged numerous works by both international and Colombian playwrights, significantly enriching the nation's cultural landscape and today Todd Kramer and Jay Reum get Ricardo to open up about all of that in this episode… even if he is quite humble about his contribution.
