Diagnostic excellence is a concept that has emerged as a model to support the delivery of high-quality, effective, patient-centered care. In this episode, Drs. Nielsen and Friedlander define diagnostic excellence, provide examples of diagnostic excellence in urology, note some of the challenges related to the diagnostic process for urology, and discuss some of the ways that the AUA is planning to help enhance diagnostic excellence going forward.
