USDA Ag Outlook Forum says a record U.S. corn crop is on the way at 15.58 billion bushels, with a yield of 181 bushels per acre and 94 million acres total. Meantime, soybeans are projected with lower total acreage but a higher yield. You couple those projections with the ongoing tariff rhetoric out of the White House and we saw a mostly lower day in grains and lean hogs on Thursday. Cattle futures were really the only bright spot on the day. Bryan Doherty with Total Farm Marketing joins us for thoughts and analysis as we near the end of the week. Also, as we are moving toward spring 2025, is a U.S. cattle herd rebuild set to being anytime soon? Lance Zimmerman, Senior Analyst-Animal Protein at Rabobank believes the industry is entering the anticipated rebuilding phase in the cattle cycle. We discuss his latest report and get his perspective on the outlook for cattle markets and the beef industry in 2025. Read his full report and more at https://rabo.nl/lancezimmerman
