Dr. Andrew Rabin joined the University of Louisville English Department in 2005 after receiving his B.A. from Grinnell College and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. His research examines the law and literature of early medieval England. His books include Crime and Punishment in Anglo-Saxon England (Cambridge University Press, 2020), Wulfstan: Old English Legal Writings (Harvard University Press, The Disputatio Puerorum: A Ninth-Century Monastic Instructional Text (Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies, 2017), and The Political Writings of Archbishop Wulfstan of York (Manchester University Press, 2015).

Well, the McConnell Center is bringing authors and experts to inspire us to read impactful and entertaining books that might be on our shelves or in our e-readers, but which we haven’t yet picked up.
