The direction we have from a voice somewhere inside our heads to change, change completely and change fast can be exceedingly stressful. What if you questioned this thought? Are you sure you're right? People will think "but I have to have this stressful thought because otherwise, I WILL NOT change (and remember, I have to, right?)" This is entering an entirely different paradigm. A place where change is not required and you are truly OK. It's restful, relaxing and open-minded. It's non-resistant.
