In this episode, we chat with Sam Hawley about her journey to adoption, the process of adoption, transracial adoption, and everything in between! Sam gets real about what it's like raising children of color in a predominantly black neighborhood, her & her spouses intentions, and the work she knows she has to continue doing.

The road to and through adoption can be extremely different for everyone. We appreciate this opportunity to hear Sam's story and believe you'll find this episode to be enlightening, encouraging, and interesting to hear the realities of transracial adoption.

Samantha Hawley is a born & raised midwesterner who has called Harlem, NY home for the last 15 years with her high school sweetheart, Caleb. She's a freelance event producer and a mom through adoption to a 2 year old and a 11 month old.
