In episode 18, I have a conversation with Dr. David Gago, a career educator in his 23rd year of education working with the Kern High School District in Central California. We talk about leadership, sports, formative assessment, and how we can improve education in small steps.
Dr. Gago is a mathematics teacher at Golden Valley High school, and also serves as the district subject matter facilitator for Mathematics in the same district. David has a BS in Mathematics, two MA's in Education, 1 in Teaching and Learning, and 1 in Educational Technology, and just finished his doctoral journal, receiving his Doctor of Education degree (EdD) in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, Irvine this August. Dr. Gago is also working as an adjunct professor with Bakersfield College, and with the University of La Verne in his spare time.
