Yes, at first blush, the notion of Leia actually needing redemption for anything seems impossible. But when you look at the sequel movies so far, there's been a very strong thread carried through. Han's redemption for sins of the past happened in The Force Awakens. Luke's happened in The Last Jedi. Is it Leia's turn in The Rise of Skywalker? Punch it!
