At the end of May, the LCSPA (League Championship Series Players’ Association) overwhelmingly voted to walk out on the eve of Summer Split for the LCS. While this may not mean much to the regular viewer, fans of League of Legends eSports knew one thing: this was something unprecedented not only in League of Legends, but eSports worldwide. We talk about what the Players’ Association demanded from Riot and its Orgs, and how this can change the landscape of competitive gaming in the future.

*This episode was recorded prior to Riot and LCSPA reaching an agreement on resuming play for Summer Split. If you’d like to read more about what was agreed upon, check it out here
