Three Short Stories by Christopher Meeks This episode features three brief literary stories each read by the author. A newly divorced man attempts to revive his muse and his love life by taking a night class. A man goes looking for his wife in a strange place, but finds unintended trouble instead. A wife with a love of poetry feels unrepresented in her own life. Christopher Meeks first published short fiction in a number of literary journals, and the stories are available in two collections, The Middle-Aged Man and the Sea and Months and Seasons. He’s been publishing new short fiction in literary magazines, and “Incident on Cecilia Street” was published last year in Rosebud. “A Warm Front….” will be in the April issue of Rosebud. The audiobook of The Middle-Aged Man and the Sea is also available on Audible. Recently, he's focused on crime novels. His first, Blood Drama had a graduate student writing a thesis on David Mamet in a struggle with a ruthless killer and bank robber.
