The McCartney Legacy volume 2 was released in December of 2024. It made my January a lot more fun...
After reading volume 1 I was anticipating this second volume, covering the years from 1974 - 1980, with much excitement. It did not dissapoint. In every way this book contiunues the Paul McCartney story in the same fine way that Volume 1 did. Entertaining, colourful, surprising and full of great music from the start in 1974 to the experience in Japan in 1980.
With over 700 pages this book gives so much insight into the life of McCartney in one of his arguably most interesting periods after The Beatles. The Legacy books have delivered another level of appreciation and understanding of Paul after The Beatles..
In this episode, this Danish Podcast "Elsker The Beatles" - "Loving The Beatles", talks to Allan Kozinn and Adrian Sinclair about working on this project for the last 10 years. We cherrypick highlights from the book - and hopefully gives the listener the urge to go into "Full Legacy Mode".
The book is a must for every McCartney-fan - hope you enjoy the conversation!
