Hello and welcome to Take Your Time, a Persona podcast in which hosts Jonathon Dornbush and Tom Marks are playing through Persona 3 Reload week by week along with the in-game calendar. On episode 21 of the Persona 3 Reload playthrough this season, the hosts cover the events of September 1-7, meaning we jump into the next Full Moon Operation, as well as plenty of other key character moments!
That's right, another FMO has arrived (that still hasn't caught on, has it?), as Tom and Jonathon dig into a packed week of battles, befriending, and...book reading? Yes, as a new school semester starts in Persona 3 Reload, Jonathon and Tom recount some of their day to day activities, as despite this being a story-heavy week, there's still plenty of free time to cover.
However, there are plenty of moments to highlight as we learn more about S.E.E.S., Strega, and their story. We dissect the further steps in the relationship between Junpei and Chidori, including the climactic events between them during the full moon. We learn a bit more from Takaya, which deepens our understanding of Persona. And we welcome another member (back) to S.E.E.S., as Shinji finally, officially joins the gang.
That all culminates in some discussion of Tartarus and the big Full Moon boss battle. We offer some thoughts on our latest batch of team members and their abilities, while Tom (and maybe even Jonathon) reveals a fatal flaw as they entered this week's big boss fight.
