Author Larry Kidder joins us to discuss his latest book Defending Fort Stanwix, a fort on the western frontier of New York that contributed to the ultimate surrender of the British Army at Saratoga in 1777. Kidder discusses the siege, the related battle of Oriskany and why these events were so consequential to the war.
