In this episode of Stocks In Translation, Yahoo Finance markets and data editor Jared Blikre and producer Sydnee Fried welcome Robert Sluymer, technical strategist at RBC Wealth Management, for an in-depth discussion on market cycles. Market cycles are recurring patterns of rising and falling asset prices, typically comprising phases of growth, peak, decline, and recovery. According to Sluymer, we’re currently, “in that 2010 to 2020 bull market” and projects further gains into the 2030s. Within these generational cycles, "a series of higher highs and higher lows," occur, indicating an uptrend that usually lasts about four years.

Twice a week, Stocks In Translation cuts through the market mayhem, noisy numbers, and hyperbole to give you the information you need to make the right trade for your portfolio.
