While nature lovers are eager to return to Israel's north following the Lebanon ceasefire, KKL-JNF stresses that many sites and forests remain closed due to damage sustained in the hostilities. KKL-JNF staff are working to restore sites to ensure a safe experience for visitors. An updated list of sites can be found on the KKL-JNF site. Itamar Katz, head forester of the Golan Heights at KKL-JNF spoke to KAN reporter Naomi Segal.
