Kat Craugh and Special Olympics athlete Renee Cappetto in studio discussing unique ways we can Polar Plunge on Saturday. This will be the 27th annual Polar Plunge, where the community raises money for Special Olympics Wisconsin and dives into the Black River. Last year, La Crosse raised over $100,000 for the Special Olympics. Kat and Renee talked about the traditional way of running into the water, but they've carved out ways everyone can participate by having the 'toe dip," which is exactly what it sounds like. But, we also brainstormed another idea, that maybe we'll see next year, "the cheek dip." Kat had a brilliant idea in terms of doing that.
