La Crosse School superintendent, Dr. Aaron Engel, joins to discuss how loop kids are after changing the clocks, the new elementary school going up in the district, and the idea of ending the Department of Education.
Began the conversation about Daylight Saving, how it affects students and if it would be bad for kids riding the bus, if we kept the clocks the way they are now, permanently.
After that, we discussed part of the recently passed $53.5 million referendum. There's an open house from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hogan Administration building in the district, where people can learn what the new elementary school there would look like. Attendees can also provide feedback.
Lastly, we discussed what would happen to schools if the Department of Education closed.
