Retired Lieutenant General Vusi Masondo of the office of the Military Ombud has highlighted numerous challenges that are faced by his office in relation to his work with the Department of Defence. He has been addressing the Joint Standing Committee on Defense on its Annual Activity Report. Masondo reflected to the number of cases brought to the ombuds office including financial challenges and difficulties with the Department of Defence. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC reporter Zalene Merrington.
