Today on Like It Matters Radio Mr. Black wants listeners to consider a Grand Question, “Which one are you gonna be?” Life is about choices, and about what we do with the consequences of those choices. If we are going to be honest let’s admit; 1- Life aint no fair. 2- Life Is Hard. The Bible says that a righteous man will stumble 7 times but get back up. The wicked will stumble into ruin. We cannot control what happens to us in life, but we can choose how we respond. We experience life once, then we codify our experiences in memories that are stored in pictures, words, feelings, smells and tastes. There is a saying that illustrates this concept of choices. “Two men sit behind bars. One sees mud, the other sees stars”. Dr. Viktor Frankl the great Austrian Psychotherapist, the founder of the Will to Meaning, and Logo Therapy said, “Between the stimulus and the response there is a space. IN that space is your power and your freedom, your liberty.” Today Mr. Black will use the real-life situation of Team 892 in Las Vegas. We had 8 people scheduled for a life changing event. At the end of the training, there were only 5 people that were still there and living life like it matters! This is a situation that plays out millions of times daily and people use their consequences to play victim, to covet and to blame the world for their choices. We are better than this!
