From his youthful discovery of the works of Shakespeare to his roles on a famous TV sitcom and an animated series, actor Earle Hyman had an unusual acting career. His performances took him from his childhood home in rocky Mount, North Carolina, to New York, and on to Norway, where he performed plays by Shakespeare in Norwegian.
