Michael Brissenden is best known for his 35 year career as a journalist with the ABC.
He was posted to Moscow, Brussels and Washington and worked in Canberra for many years in various roles – including The 7.30 Report, the ‘AM’ Current Affairs program on ABC radio and as a reporter with Four Corners.
Michael's first work as an author was published in 2012. Michael appeared at the Kiama Readers' Festival to talk about how his life as a journalist has influenced his writing, and his latest book Smoke.
