Welcome to episode #231, which is a continuation of my conversation with Lynda Wake, who is a wife, mom (or “mum” as she would say it), and grandmother. She is also the author of two amazing devotional books, “Heartbreakingly Beautiful” and “Waiting Well With Jesus”, and the founder of the BE Blessings ministry, which you’ll hear more about today.
Last week, Lyn shared the story of how her daughter Bethany was diagnosed with inoperable terminal brain cancer at the tender age of fifteen. Today we get deeper into her story, including her advice for newly bereaved parents, what she’s learned about the character of God, and how she’s experienced His faithfulness over the past thirteen years. We’re also going to have our first-ever giveaway, so be sure to listen in for that! We will pick up our conversation right where we left off last week.
GIVEAWAY - (EDIT - The book has been claimed!) I have ONE copy of Lynda's 52-week devotional "Heartbreakingly Beautiful" to give away. I will mail it to the first person to email me at [email protected].
To purchase your own copy of "Waiting Well with Jesus" visit your local Christian bookstore and ask them to order it ... or you can order one on Amazon HERE:
