This message is from chapter 2 of Revelation. This passage is all about
three things: Remember therefore from where you have fallen, repent, and
do the works you did at first. This sounds simple, but most truths are harder
to obey than to learn.
This message will help you use your memory for good instead of allowing
the enemy to sabotage it for bad. God wants us to remember for the
purpose of renewal. Memories are powerful, especially because they are
more about feelings than facts.
God wants us to remember why we fell in love so that we’ll fall in love again. However, it’s about much more than remembering. We’re supposed to remember
what we did positively and do it again. Repentance is about so much more
than the admission of fault; ultimately it is about changing our desire,
decisions, and disciplines. Repentance isn’t difficult; it is a beautiful gift that
renews everything.
