After the Stuff Hits The Fan is not the time to begin learning how to use that hand-held HAM radio you bought and put in the bag, "just in case." A license is required to transmit and you need to transmit to learn your equipment, learn it's capabilities, as well as its limitations. In episode #12 we discuss what is involved in getting your HAM radio license, what a person with a Technician Class HAM radio operator license can do and many things in which they can become involved. We give you resources that will help, and we provide links in the show notes below. Getting your license is really not hard at all. Drop us an email if we can answer any questions you may have, and certainly let us know when you get your license.
