Hi Barbie! 👋 Whew, the Barbie movie really caused a stir on all sides of the political spectrum, didn't it! The right is losing their minds over this cornucopia of "toxic femininity" while the left (leftist women, specifically) can't seem to tear it apart fast enough for not being a radical feminist manifesto that will topple the patriarchy. Many of us, who enjoyed the film as a campy, queer, femme summer romp are tired. So tired. We just wanted to have fun and celebrate this cultural moment.
So today, I go on a partially unhinged rant (that was, in my defense, actually asked for) to talk about my feelings around the Barbie Discourse (TM), what the movie meant to me, and at not one but TWO points I shed my own real human tears about it.

Before all that, I give some MAJOR life updates and talk about what's up next for Pynk Spots, which is the release (finally!) of my healing journey series - a project that bloomed from one focused episode to what will now be a series of at least nine. I'm scared, I'm excited, I'm ready to go on this journey with all of you and can't wait to share what's next! 🖤
