France native, turned New Yorker, Larasati Vitoux has brought a little bit of Europe to the States. She owns Maison Jar, a refillery and grocery store focused on not having unnecessary packaging. Customers can bring in reusable containers or jars and fill them up with bulk items from her store. She sells items from food, home/personal care and essentials in the hopes of influencing small habits that can become a catalyst for bigger movements for the environment.

Larasati loved her job before but felt like something was missing, her purpose. She wants to create a community in her neighborhood and help people build healthy habits for themselves and the planet. She’s focused on always having quality products. She is also working on workshops in her store to educate others on sustainability practices. Listen to this episode wherever you hear podcasts!
