In this overview episode we cover:
- Trigger warning - let people know we will be talking about topics that may make some people uncomfortable, the podcast is not intended for younger listeners or those who are reactive to discussions involving child sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation material (“child porn”) or abuse.
- Our target audience - individuals who are have a sexual attraction to children, former offenders who are committed to not offending again, and people who are interested in learning more about non-offending pedophiles.
- Who we are - the hosts, writers and people involved with this show are a combination of minor attracted persons.
- Zurc has completed a graduate education at a major university in the United States, he is a veteran. He is married, his attraction to pre-pubescent boys began at the age of 13 or 14. He has never acted on these feelings or had any interaction with law enforcement related to these feelings.
- Timothy is an advocate for the primary prevention of child sexual abuse and advocate for MAPs. He discusses his experiences with suicide, coming out to family and time in therapy.
- BlyRede covers his story, he describes his experiences with autopedophilia, coming out as gay at school, the age of realization, marriage, Virped/MSC, experiences in the ageplay community, experiences getting therapy, twitter, his work with prevention podcast via others, why he is using his own voice, and his blog on substack.
- Why we are doing this - we noticed there are many misunderstandings in social media about the MAP community. Many people have a reaction to this that is knee-jerk. We feel that we should respond to some inaccurate information and hurtful posts by describing our perspective. We also note that within the MAP community there are no podcasts that incorporate comedy, most are very serious, and we feel that this makes pedophilia inaccessible to most people. Our goal is to create a light-hearted podcast that showcases our lives and the questions we ask ourselves and discuss in our forums and chats so that people can see who we are and what we are about. We also plan on talking about topics other than pedophilia.
