In this episode, Matt Rygh joins me from Seattle, WA. Having taken pictures every day for the last five years and refining his craft, this last October, he released his first picture book, titled Sanctuary, in which he conveys emotions about his hometown of Camano Island through a series of photos taken on a $20 film camera from 1946. Rygh is masterful at capturing beauty in simple environments, and I highly encourage you check out his work!
