Y’all, let’s talk about it—nobody likes feeling embarrassed. But what if the very thing we’re trying to hide is the exact thing God wants to use? Today, we’re diving into a word that’s going to stretch you—literally. In Luke 6, Jesus tells a man with a withered hand to step out in front of everyone and stretch. Now, can you imagine? The nerves, the fear, the embarrassment? But here’s the twist: what feels like embarrassment to us is a setup for God’s glory!
I shared some of my own embarrassing moments, because, let’s be real, we’ve all had them. But I’m here to remind you that God can take those things we think disqualify us—the broken, withered, hidden stuff—and turn them into weapons for His purpose. Stretching is uncomfortable; it puts your faith and your ego in a wrestling match. But hear me—it’s in the stretching that God brings the breakthrough.
So, are you willing to be stretched? To trust God even when it doesn’t make sense? Maybe for you, that looks like stepping out in faith to believe God for something big, or giving in a way that stretches your heart to believe. Either way, this message is for YOU.
God is saying, ‘Don’t embarrass Me by hiding what I’ve called you to stretch.’ The very thing you’re hesitant about could be the pathway to something extraordinary. Lean in, take this word to heart, and get ready for a BIG breakthrough. Let’s stretch together!"
