In 2012, FBI agents arrested a man for the murder of Samantha Koenig in Anchorage, Alaska. What they didn’t realize was that they’d apprehended one of America’s most prolific serial killers: Israel Keyes. Citing a split personality, Keyes went on a crime spree across the country for fourteen years, robbing banks, burning down houses and taking lives. He buried kill kits across the country so he’d never miss an opportunity, and he got away with it for years. After his arrest in 2012, Keyes opened up about his past, but with a few major conditions.
