Another week, this time TWO inspiring Milwaukee women.

“Nevertheless, she persisted.” YES. SHE. DID. Oh Mitch McConnell, look what you started.

Today on the podcast, get ready to be inspired to start SMALL, to take ACTION, and to DO something. This week I’m talking with two local sisters, Lisa Williams and Cheryl Juech, who started their own home-grown activism with their group the PERSISTers. The PERSISTers began around Lisa’s dining room table in Wauwatosa in 2016 with a handful of friends and a few postcards. And it has steadily grown into a local movement - meeting weekly to share heartbreaks and hopes and - most importantly - committing to tangible and concrete weekly actions that demand more from our elected representatives. If you are feeling overwhelmed with the chaos of the state of our nation, let this week’s interview give you small, immediate steps you can take today to stay alert and stay active.
