Laci was reported "missing" by her husband Scott on Christmas Eve, 2002. Scott acted suspicious from the beginning. So many red flags. The lies, the boat, the hiding, the secrets, but most of all...the girlfriend, Amber Frey. Amber did not know that Scott was married, and she ultimately came to Laci's defense, helping to put him in prison for the murder.
