Today we will discuss induction of labor. I know many of you have heard of this before and for some of you this will become part of your birth story. Over 30% of women have their labor and birth induced in the US. So today we will talk about what is labor induction, why is it done, what contraindications are there for induction of labor and some of the common methods used to induce labor.
