Ros Bates MP is an Australian politician and has been a Liberal National Party member of the Queensland Parliament since March 2009, representing her electorate of Mudgeeraba. Her previous positions have included the Shadow Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence, and the Shadow Minister for Child Safety, and Ros still holds her role as Shadow Minister for Women, alongside Shadow Minister for Health and Ambulance Services, and Shadow Minister for Medical Research.

During this Survivor Revival Podcast episode, Jen chats with Ros about her frustration with the lack of situational change she's seen in the current Government, particularly around child safety and domestic violence. Ros is a powerful advocate for women and children and gets exactly what needs to happen from a policy perspective to see a significant change in the areas of domestic violence and child safety.

Ros shares about her our background of experiencing domestic violence, and her desire to see a change in legislation to include areas of protection not currently being considered.

A powerful interview, well worth 35 minutes of your time.
